Fall

Fall is not always reds and orange I discovered at my own home this fall season. My hydrangea looked so nice that I cut them and used them in my planters and wreath with some fall grasses and cat tails. It blends everything together.

Old counter top ~make it look new !

 Many of us have different priorities and the kitchen countertop is not one of them. I decided to use a product that I can make my countertops look like granit with out spending thousands of dollars. I was a little nervous but had nothing to loose as my counters were horrible.
This product is by Giani. It was very easy to use and I am very pleased with the end result.

ICE DREAMS 2010

Have a chance in winning one of my designs at Ice Dreams 2010 at the Harry Lumley BayShore in Owen Sound On. Jan.9th and 10th from 9am-6:30pm.
Tickets at the door ~ $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. There will be 200 competitors skating from Grey Bruce. So bring your family and enjoy the wonderful talent.

New Year, New Room.

That's right, it is now a new year, lets create a new room for you.
Once all your Christmas decorations are down the room always looks empty, well this is great timing then. Move your furniture to one side of the room (or out if you have the muscles and space) and start fresh. Most of us get it into our heads that the furniture only fits one way in the room. Well that may be the case in some rooms but I am sure you can change it slightly to give you a fresh new feel.It may be an accent wall. Don't feel that you need to paint the entire room, just one wall to give a new look.
